She was sitting down on the floor,
rolling up dollar bills.
All her welfare money were spent
on coke and cheap pills.
For a moment she has stopped
and thought about her kids,
but then she bowed and she did her line.

But every drug has its line between use and abuse,
but in her mind those lines were erased.
So when they found her dead weeks later with her veins ruptured,
she was written off as a victim of OD.

Days before she overdosed she was walking misery,
with her hopes and reasons to live blown to smithereens.
Asphyxiation was the only cure she could think of,
it beats ten fun years of living a wretched life.

But even the Death herself has a weird sense of humor,
so she surely laughed when that rope fucking broke.
With her remaining energy she reached for her syringe,
and gave herself a lethal dose of heroin.

A danger to herself, she's better off this way,
all she left behind was a syringe.
